I recently installed the game update and it has the new dating feature where rather than going from friends to going steady, the sims go on dates. Now my sims have been on various dates but i can't figure out how to get them to become boyfriend/girlfriend, it's not in any options! pleaaaaaaase help, it's bugging me like mad.

just keep using the romantic interactions same as before and eventually it'll let you "ask to go steady"Sims 3 new dating feature? from dating to a relationship?
You just have to keep making them do "romantic" things, like before, until "propose to go steady" is an option. It's pretty much the same thing as before.
