On the Sims 2, if 2 teens are dating, then they're parents get married, can they still be together?

I have a daughter, who is dating another teen guy. They're parents are also together, if they get married can the teens still be together? Or is it Sim-cest?On the Sims 2, if 2 teens are dating, then they're parents get married, can they still be together?
Depends on their type of relationship.

Okay... so, say that the teens belong to different families. Let's call them Teen A and Teen B. Their parents, respectively, are Parent A and Parent B.

Now, if Parents A and B were married and then gave birth to Teens A and B, then yes, the teens' relationship would be incest, and they would not be allowed to have any relationship higher than best friends (as in, they would not be able to Go Steady or be Engaged/Married)

(And no offense dude, but if this is the case and your teens are still dating, then dang, your game is messed up.)

On the other hand, if Teens A and B came from separate families, and their parents got separated for whatever reason, and THEN Parent A and Parent B got together (making your two Teens step-sibs), then your Teens should still be allowed to date and have romantic relationships, because they aren't biologically related.

Eh, if this is too confusing to figure out, then just check the teens' family tree. As long as Parent A's line attached to Parent B's line is NOT also attached to BOTH Teens A and B, then it should be fine.On the Sims 2, if 2 teens are dating, then they're parents get married, can they still be together?
I don't think that it'll let the teens get married technically. They may be able to fool around through the interactions but I think that's all.On the Sims 2, if 2 teens are dating, then they're parents get married, can they still be together?
Yes of course because of the type of their relationship. If they love each other, no one can break it
